mindy-corporonMindy Corporon, Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member of Boyer & Corporon Wealth Management, is named to the Influential Women Class of 2013 presented by KC Business magazine. She and fellow class members will be featured in the upcoming March 2013 issue.

Women in the corporate, creative, nonprofit and entrepreneurial communities nominate their peers across the metro area for consideration. A panel of independent judges evaluates the nominees’ professional achievements, commitment to mentoring and philanthropic involvement. Candidates viewed as the most inspirational to others within their organizations and communities are then recognized as Kansas City’s most influential women of the year.

Mindy embodies the qualities of an Influential Women Class of 2013 honoree, both inside and outside of our company doors. On Wall Street named her one of the Top Financial Advisors under the age of 40. Mindy was honored as one of the Kansas City area’s 25 “Women Who Mean Business” in 2010. She was also one of only 12 local entrepreneurs chosen for the prestigious Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (HEMP) in 2011.

Mindy plays an active role in many civic and nonprofit organizations. She is a Community Foundation of Johnson County board member and a Donald H. Chisholm Planned Giving Council for the Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics member. In July 2012, Mindy began serving a term on Blue Valley Educational Foundation’s board. She and her family avidly support Operation Breakthrough, a local charity with a mission to help children living in poverty develop to their fullest potential.
